It has short-pointed branches to position instrument on the right landmarks, it is easy to handle, and has a visualizing window with white numbers and scale contrasted on a dark background with a clear yellow indicator line resting on an iodized aluminum axe. An ergonomically-designed sliding section for finger positioning, this tool has a length of 60cm and a resolution to 1.0mm. As with other Holway instruments, it includes a two Allen-type screw mechanism to allow calibration, and comes with its corresponding Allen wrench.
